news-detail

This report presents findings of research on child contact proceedings in the aftermath of domestic violence, conducted by CWASU in partnership with Rights of Women. The research explored women’s experiences of proceedings, including the financial impacts, and surveyed legal professionals. Recommendations drawn from the findings suggest wide ranging changes to the family justice system are needed if women and children’s safety is to be prioritised.
