news-detail

The Nordic Baltic Pilot Project for the Support, Protection, Safe Return and Rehabilitation of Women Victims of Trafficking for Sexual Exploitation ran from Oct 2005 to Dec 2008 with two key objectives; 1. to develop a regional programme for the provision of support services to women victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation, and 2. to strengthen the gender equality perspective in policies, programmes and anti-trafficking initiatives, especially in victim support services.

This report comprises an ‘after the fact’ evaluation of this project, conducted towards the end of the pilot project, and combines process and outcome discussions, provides an overview of the project’s achievements, discusses some of the remaining challenges and concludes with guidance for future priorities.
