Women and girls initiative - Empowering women and girls to take control of their lives

October 16, 2015

news-detail

The Child and Woman Abuse Studies Unit and DMSS Research Ltd have been commissioned by the Big Lottery Fund, where they will work with the staff at the Fund and all the organisations applying for funding from the Women and Girls Initiative (WGI – the applicants), to support discussions around learning and evaluation.

We will be supporting the applicants to think through where on their evidence journey they are and what makes most sense for them to focus through this opportunity. This will include for example, robust data collection processes are in place to monitor effectively what they are doing; measuring the difference their project is trying to make; learning about what works, for whom and how; or filling gaps in the existing evidence base that will aide their sustainability in the future
