news-detail

CWASU researchers will be working with The Essex Rape Crisis Partnership (ERCP) comprising of South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre (SERICC) (lead partner) Southend Rape Crisis Centre (SOSRC), and Mid & North Essex Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse (CARA) to deliver this project funded by the Big Lottery.

The overall aim of this project is to ensure increased accessibility to specialist support for women and girls experiencing sexual violence across Essex. Through delivery of funded activities, the aim is to achieve the following 4 core outcomes:

  1. Increased provision of holistic, woman centred approaches for women and girls at risk across Essex
  2. Increased role and voice for women & girls in co-producing services
  3. More women & girls who have experienced sexual violence in Essex are supported through the provision of improved specialist support
  4. Evidence of delivering this service – what works and what doesn’t
