Liz Kelly presents the Corinna Seith Award 2016 at 18th WAVE Conference, Berlin

CWASU Director Prof Liz Kelly and Prof Carol Hagemann-White (Osnabrück Univ.), presented the Corinna Seith Award 2016 to this year’s winner at the 18th WAVE (Women Against Violence Europe) conference – Step Up! Europe – Unite to end violence against women and their children, 19-21 October 2016, Berlin, Germany.

WAVE established the above award in honour of former member Corinna Seith, a passionate feminist, researcher and women’s self-defence teacher, who died in 2010. The prize money is awarded to the best paper written by a young scholar.
